Job Description

About the Role

The Vice President of Business Development (Spectrum Superiority) at CACI is responsible for expanding the company's presence in the Spectrum Superiority market by leading the business development team, building trusted customer relationships within DoD and intelligence communities, and leveraging technical and operational expertise in Electronic Warfare (EW), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Radio Frequency (RF), and Electro-Optical (EO) domains. The role involves strategic planning, capturing new business opportunities, and driving growth through collaboration across teams and with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach the Spectrum Superiority business development team to achieve growth within the market and serve as a strategic voice on the leadership team.
  • Collaborate across the Business Development and Product Sales teams to ensure alignment and success.
  • Build the pipeline for organic growth by managing full life cycle business development activities, including strategic planning, bid and proposal management, target identification, capture strategies, proposal management, contract award, and customer relations.
  • Make difficult decisions regarding bid/no bid to maximize Pwin and profitable new business growth with limited resources.
  • Provide critical linkages between long-term strategic plans and near-term business actions, partnering with the Spectrum Superiority Line of Business Leader, SVP, and Client Executives.
  • Collaborate with functional and market counterparts across CACI to bring forward winning solutions and position the business for strategic campaigns.
  • Identify and develop bench strength for business development talent within the Spectrum Superiority market.
  • Develop and contribute to customer contact plans and campaign win strategies for new business and contract growth, including strategic planning, market analysis, and M&A strategy.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of business development and strategy experience or leadership within the DoD or Intelligence community relevant to EW/SIGINT/RF/EO markets with increasing responsibility.
  • Broad EW/SIGINT/RF/EO market and customer awareness with a proven track record of forming, shaping, identifying, and winning new and competitive acquisitions.
  • Deep operational or technical domain experience in EW, SIGINT, Communications, and Imaging.
  • Active Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Nice to Have

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
