Key Responsibilities

  • Build and evangelize a content marketing strategy that aligns with client outcomes, agency growth, and cultural momentum.
  • Translate big brand ambitions into a system of owned, earned, shared, and zero-click offerings.
  • Lead the editorial, SEO, and content marketing teams, creating a performance-based approach to integrate with other agency disciplines.
  • Develop the agency framework for high-output content services including evergreen, episodic, campaign-related, and modular content.
  • Establish editorial standards to drive relevance, trust, and authority, incorporating AI-related approaches.
  • Help clients see content as a growth driver and establish it as indispensable to client funnels, brand, and community/culture.
  • Build a thought leadership program and facilitate workshops in partnership with other solutions offerings.
  • Coach and mentor a team of writers, editors, strategists, and content marketers, fostering curiosity and open-mindedness.
  • Represent content in pitches, counsel, and internal discussions to position the agency as a leader in the discipline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in editorial leadership and content marketing, with a proven track record of driving business growth.
  • Experience working in a Public Relations, Marketing, or Communications agency with client-facing work and campaign execution.
  • Ability to grow revenue through strategic content initiatives and lead a team of 5 or more professionals.
  • Strong understanding of editorial processes, content marketing, SEO/LLMSEO, and analytics tools.
  • Ability to create frameworks for LLM-driven processes.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and client engagement skills.
  • Experience in a technology-related field is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinking with a passion for driving business results through editorial solutions.

Qualifications
