About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Marketing, the Vice President, Franchise Marketing will lead the Franchise Marketing Team for CABOMETYX and is accountable for digital, omnichannel, marketing-driven artificial intelligence (AI) exploration, access, patient and advanced practitioner marketing, brand strategic and tactical planning, conference planning oversight, marketing communications and operations, and oversight of quarterly business reviews.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages direct reports who in turn manage the Digital, Omnichannel, AI, Access, Patient/APP, Strategic Accounts, Franchise Strategy and Operations, and Conference Planning teams.
  • Responsible for 3-year strategic brand plan and annual tactical planning processes.
  • Accountable for the brand's digital marketing strategic plan and tactical execution across audiences.
  • Oversee, through direct reports, the brand's omnichannel & AI marketing strategy, operational effectiveness, and coordination of tactical inputs with in-line brand promotional leads.
  • Oversee the execution of annual conference planning & coordination with core marketing and sales partners.
  • Accountable for the brand's strategic plan and annual tactical plan execution for patient marketing, advanced practitioner, and access marketing.
  • Ensure that the GPO strategic and tactical plan aligns with the overarching brand strategic plan.
  • Communicate and ensure organizational alignment to the brand strategic plan.
  • Ensure financial oversight, operate within budget, and provide updates throughout the year.
  • Support the brand by conducting periodic, deep-dive market assessments and coordinate marketing mix analyses in collaboration with CSAO.
  • Collaborate with CSAO to optimize market research affecting brand strategy and impact analyses.
  • Manage the aggregate brand budget during review cycles and support ROI analysis.
  • Engage with key customers and accounts to understand business dynamics and optimize channel decision-making.
  • Oversee, through direct reports, the coordination of quarterly business review planning and process.
  • Lead and oversee operational functions including contract processing, leadership coordination, talent review, calendar coordination, strategic evaluation of AI and Omnichannel approaches, and team communications.
  • Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies governing conduct.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in related discipline with at least 21 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 19 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Pharmaceutical marketing and/or strategic consulting experience.
  • Leadership and cross-functional collaboration experience.
  • Sales, sales management, and managed care experience (strongly preferred).
  • Oncology experience (strongly preferred).
  • Multi-channel or Omnichannel experience.
  • Ability to develop strategic concepts and communicate them clearly.
  • Cross-functional leadership skills to build consensus and drive decisions.
  • High learning agility and understanding of marketplace factors affecting brand performance.
  • Effective presentation and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations related to pharmaceutical promotion and experience with legal, medical, and regulatory review processes.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement mechanisms for injectable and oral medications.
  • Knowledge of managed care environment, including pharmacy and medical benefit design.
  • Knowledge of access programs such as samples and vouchers.
  • Project management skills.
