Vice President, FuturePlan Marketing

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Define marketing strategy based on understanding of the FuturePlan multi-year strategic growth plan, market segmentation, customer behavior, and competitive landscape.
• Lead and influence cross-functional resources, gain buy-in from key stakeholders, and encourage best thinking to position marketing initiatives for success.
• Develop and maintain relationships with FuturePlan Sales to seek input on client needs and marketing programs, and keep teams informed of marketing efforts and their effectiveness.
• Inspire and develop the FuturePlan Marketing team through transparent communication, respect, inclusion, clear goals, empowerment, and shared vision.
• Develop and oversee execution of marketing programs to support growth and retention objectives, including offerings like 3(16), cash balance, institutional MEPs and PEPs, and actuarial services.
• Improve FuturePlan brand familiarity and articulate differentiation by clarifying value proposition and developing effective messaging across sales and marketing channels such as web, PR, social media, thought leadership, partnerships, and events.
• Develop marketing programs and content to support sales efforts.
• Oversee budgeting process for FuturePlan marketing with transparency, effectiveness, and efficiency.
• Utilize marketing technology, data, AI, experimentation, and client experience measurement to manage marketing initiatives and improve client experience.
• Measure and evaluate the performance and ROI of marketing programs, and optimize strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with Ascensus's Marketing, Analytics & UX teams to execute, measure, optimize, and share best practices, promoting a unified culture.

• Specific experience in B2B and Retirement marketing.
• Minimum of 15 years of related experience.
• Four-year college degree in marketing, communications, or related field; Masters degree highly desired.
