About the Role

The Vice President of Marketing is a key executive role responsible for leading the marketing department and driving the overall marketing strategy to achieve business objectives. This role requires a visionary leader with extensive experience in marketing, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence and inspire teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies, driving revenue growth, and enhancing brand equity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's business goals and drive growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Oversee the development and execution of brand strategies to enhance brand awareness, positioning, and loyalty.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and the competitive landscape, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Design and oversee integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, PR, and traditional media.
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment (ROI).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for marketing initiatives.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and make data-driven decisions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation in marketing strategies.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the executive team and board of directors on marketing performance, insights, and strategic recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field with 15+ years of related experience.
  • 7+ years of making management decisions.
  • Experience in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive growth and brand equity.
  • Strong business acumen and leadership skills.
  • Technical/Functional Skills including Market Strategy, Campaign Management, Digital Marketing Tools, Market Research, KPI Tracking, and Project Management.
  • Behavioral Skills such as Effective Communication, Interpersonal Skills, Attention to Detail, Decision Making, Problem-Solving, and Continuous Learning.

Nice to Have

  • Certified Marketing Executive (CME) is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 15+ years of related experience.
  • 7+ years of management decision-making experience.
