Vice President of Marketing

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a cohesive marketing strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals and strategic plan.
• Serve as the voice of the brand, ensuring consistency and compassion in messaging across all channels and locations.
• Partner with executive leadership to support strategic initiatives, including expansion into new markets, service line growth, and community partnerships.
• Lead the marketing department, setting goals, mentoring staff, and ensuring timely execution of campaigns.
• Monitor operational direction of the department and ensure the successful execution of strategic objectives.
• Oversee brand development and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
• Drive demand generation through digital campaigns, content marketing, SEO/SEM, and social media.
• Analyze market trends and customer insights for opportunities for growth, including underserved communities or geographies.
• Create the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and executive teams to support go-to-market strategies.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
• Support and enhance EHI's reputation through industry events, community involvement, partnerships, and media engagements.
• Influence key stakeholders, including executive leadership, through clear communication and strategic vision.
• Ensure high-level performance from all EHI and affiliate team members working on marketing initiatives.
• Perform other job-related tasks as requested.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
• Experience in B2B and/or B2C environments, depending on the industry.
• Familiarity with emerging marketing technologies and trends.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel within the EHI system's service area.

Nice to Have

• Experience with digital marketing, analytics, and CRM/automation tools.
• Experience working in healthcare or non-profit organizations.
• Knowledge of the hospice, palliative care, or related healthcare services.

Qualifications

• Educational background in marketing, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Significant senior marketing leadership experience.
