The VP of Growth Marketing will develop and lead integrated strategies across the full customer lifecycle, from awareness and acquisition to retention and advocacy, reporting to the SVP of Marketing. This role involves driving demand generation, increasing customer lifetime value, scaling impact with integrity, and building high-performing teams while aligning efforts across departments to meet ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the development and execution of end-to-end growth strategies, driving awareness, lead generation, conversion, retention, and renewals.
  • Align lifecycle efforts closely with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Enablement teams.
  • Lead strategy and performance across digital marketing channels (web, email, paid media, SEO/SEM, social, geo) to drive measurable outcomes and ROI.
  • Use experimentation, segmentation, and automation to increase personalization and efficiency.
  • Oversee the development of integrated campaigns and programs that engage new audiences and deepen relationships with current customers.
  • Leverage data to monitor performance, identify insights, and continuously refine strategies.
  • Drive a test-and-learn culture using A/B testing and conversion optimization.
  • Build clear reporting frameworks to share marketing impact across the business.
  • Manage and grow a high-performing, collaborative, and empowered team.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, creativity, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide mentorship and support to ensure team members grow in impact and confidence.
  • Oversee marketing operations and the technology stack in close partnership with IT.
  • Serve as the process owner for Lead to Opportunity workflows, ensuring seamless lead qualification and handoff to Sales.
  • Create scalable, efficient processes that drive long-term growth.
  • Manage the growth marketing budget, allocating resources toward high-ROI initiatives.
  • Make data-informed recommendations for future investments that maximize reach and impact.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling integrated marketing strategies in a complex or matrixed organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insight.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms, lead funnel optimization, and campaign attribution.
  • Proven success leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
  • 10+ years of experience in leading in digital marketing, demand generation, customer life-cycle marketing, ABM.
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior marketing leadership role.
  • Experience in education, edtech, or mission-driven B2B2C industries is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
