About the Role

GSTV is America's #1 On the Go Media company reaching 115 million consumers every month through an entertaining show in high attention moments in the consumer journey. The company combines national reach via its digital video network with local targeting capabilities down to the retailer level. The VP, Marketing - Go To Market role involves creating impactful narratives and programs to elevate GSTV's presence in the advertising community, grow existing partnerships, and unlock new business categories. The position is responsible for achieving marketing goals across revenue channels and aligning marketing solutions with sales and revenue objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage GSTV's GTM approach and sales materials for company-wide efficiency, education, and messaging consistency, including tentpole & seasonal programs, ad products, category toolkits, and the company core story and capabilities.
  • Build processes and accountability within a distributed team to develop sales packages, product positioning, and GTM strategy to strengthen GSTV's leadership among agencies and clients.
  • Develop targeted storytelling methods for different audiences using one-sheets, presentations, emails, etc.
  • Employ digital, data, and audience-first approaches in work.
  • Partner with Insights, Client Solutions, and Sales Leaders to develop packages around key tentpoles that spark client and agency engagement and drive revenue.
  • Establish strategic approaches for focus categories by analyzing data and media consumption trends.
  • Serve as the main liaison with Research to surface audience, category, and media insights to better position GSTV offerings.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership on priorities and communication cadence.
  • Partner with Client Solutions on internal communication processes, including updates to the Central Marketing Hub, Highspot Highlights, and marketing calls.
  • Understand the digital video ecosystem and collaborate on national, regional, and local ad sales marketing strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with departments such as Research, Sales, Client Solutions, Planning & Ops, Design, Marcomm, and Ignite Creative Studio.
  • Create clear success metrics for the GTM function and report on them monthly.
  • Track performance of packages via available metrics and marketplace feedback to optimize strategies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to translate business objectives into impactful marketing materials that drive results.
  • Strong vision, strategic priorities, and ability to leverage cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional understanding of qualitative and quantitative insights for advertising solutions.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and build consensus in a multi-layered organization.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strong design sensibility for sales and marketing collateral.
  • Leadership experience with a track record of unlocking business growth through storytelling.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Photoshop), Salesforce, Jira, and email marketing tools.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing solutions, sales development, or media agency roles.
