About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a new VP of Growth & Performance Marketing to own the entire performance marketing engine for Milan Laser Hair Removal and its 400+ locations nationwide. The role involves leading acquisition and demand generation across full funnel digital channels, overseeing a $100M+ media ecosystem, and shaping how the company reaches new clients. The VP will manage both hyperlocal and national campaigns, generate high-quality leads, test new channels, and ensure ROI and budget alignment, reporting directly to the CMO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own Milan's end-to-end paid media strategy, translating business objectives into full-funnel channel plans and CRO initiatives to drive disciplined CAC, lead volume, and revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain a structured test-and-learn roadmap for continuous experimentation, measurement, and innovation.
  • Partner with FP&A and analytics teams to validate ROI, ensure budget alignment, and make data-driven spend decisions.
  • Drive diversification of marketing channels to reduce reliance on any single platform and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Manage enterprise-scale paid search programs including campaign design, keyword expansion, and bid automation across Google Ads, Performance Max, and Bing.
  • Develop and execute SEO and AEO strategies to maximize organic visibility, collaborating with web development for site architecture and schema optimization.
  • Oversee campaigns across social and programmatic channels including Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, CTV, Display, Native, and others, optimizing for audience growth and spend efficiency.
  • Build and scale a structured CRO program using heatmaps, session replays, A/B/multivariate testing, and partner with CRM for lead nurturing and retargeting.
  • Provide leadership and strategy for attribution models, incrementality testing, MMM, and experiment design, ensuring actionable insights.
  • Evaluate agency contributions, manage relationships with publishers and platforms, and ensure alignment with Milan's growth strategy.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of curiosity, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate across functions to align marketing strategies, influence outcomes, and build trust within the organization.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent (e.g., GED) required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum of eight years of experience in growth, performance, or digital marketing, with at least two years in an executive leadership role.
  • Proven success managing a minimum of $50M+ annual media budgets and delivering disciplined CAC and lead quality growth.
  • Experience in highly considered purchase categories or longer sales cycles requiring trust and education.
  • Advanced experience in experiment design, incrementality testing, and MMM, with ability to translate insights into strategic actions.
  • History of evolving agency models, developing in-house talent, and establishing publisher relationships for early access to innovation.
  • Ability to leverage AI and advanced analytics tools for predictive modeling, optimization, and personalization.
  • Strong skills in recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent, fostering a culture of curiosity and accountability.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of eight years of experience in digital or performance marketing.
  • Experience managing $50M+ media budgets annually.
  • Proven success in growth and performance marketing roles, including executive leadership.
  • Experience with experiment design, incrementality testing, and analytics tools.
