About the Role

The Vice President of Mid Market Sales at RingCentral is a leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth across national teams and accounts by implementing effective sales strategies, managing high-growth accounts, and fostering a high-performance sales culture. The role involves working closely with multiple stakeholders to identify revenue opportunities, develop account strategies, and serve as a key driver of the company's growth in the mid-market segment within a leading cloud communications company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for new logo acquisition and revenue growth across North America.
  • Manage and maintain a high quality sales pipeline sufficient to meet revenue targets.
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and yearly revenue and profit goals.
  • Create and execute a sales plan, develop operating efficiencies, and establish key metrics, KPIs, and communication processes.
  • Provide executive updates on sales progress, hiring plans, rep productivity, and pipeline data.
  • Hire, manage, mentor, and coach a high-performing Mid Market sales team.
  • Foster a winning culture that promotes high-energy interactions, responsiveness, and integrity.
  • Understand the RingCentral business, market opportunities, and dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Partner with marketing, customer success, BDR, and cross-functional teams to gather insights and develop market messaging.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering consistent results in revenue growth and sales performance.
  • Experience developing successful sales teams and solution-based sales methodologies.
  • History of closing large, multi-product, multi-year deals in new major accounts within a high-growth software environment across the Americas.
  • Strong hunter mentality with a results-driven approach and ability to engage directly in deals when necessary.
  • Development-oriented leadership with coaching skills to transfer knowledge and drive results.
  • Passion for building and ensuring team success.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making ability.
  • Innovative mindset with a 'test and learn' approach and a culture of continuous learning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience working in cloud communications or SaaS industries.
  • Familiarity with sales tools and CRM platforms.
  • Experience managing large, complex partnerships and cross-departmental change.
