About the Role

The Vyndamax US HCP Marketing Director is responsible for leading marketing initiatives for Vyndamax, a priority brand in Pfizer's Rare Disease Business Unit, at a crucial time as it faces increasing competition. The role involves developing and executing high-impact marketing strategies to maintain Vyndamax's leadership position as first-line therapy for transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM), working closely with cross-functional teams, and translating scientific data and customer insights into innovative tactics. This position plays a vital part in supporting the brand's growth and competitive positioning in the US market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop field-facing marketing materials to maintain Vyndamax's leadership position and prevent switches to other ATTR-CM treatments.
  • Lead the creation of new competitive marketing pieces, such as digital sales presentations and HCP campaigns.
  • Evaluate new Vyndamax data for promotion and lead discussions with regulatory and compliance teams.
  • Innovate new HCP marketing strategies to meet brand needs in a dynamic competitive environment.
  • Leverage market research and analytics to inform tactics and ensure decisions are grounded in actionable insights.
  • Partner with the sales team to gather feedback and implement recommendations.
  • Lead the competitive field-based strategy team and support national sales meetings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including medical, analytics, and customer-facing teams to align strategies.
  • Foster agency partnerships, oversee project timelines, and manage budgets for timely execution.
  • Maintain agility in navigating unknowns and executing under demanding timelines.
  • Ensure all marketing strategies and tactics are patient-centered and aligned with Pfizer's mission.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or strategic consulting industries.
  • Previous experience in US marketing, with success in highly competitive markets.
  • Strong business acumen with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to execute in the face of ambiguity or change and take accountability for business challenges.
  • Effective listening and communication skills to gather stakeholder input and gain alignment.
  • Ability to navigate internal organization and processes.
  • Adaptable and flexible work style, capable of working with multiple teams simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams and foster collaboration.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to turn insights into actionable strategies.

Benefits & Perks

  • Annual base salary ranging from $156,600 to $261,000.
  • Eligibility for a bonus target of 20% of base salary and participation in long-term incentive programs.
