Web/UX Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, update, and optimize website content on Walden University websites.
• Identify and implement website optimization opportunities to improve usability, ADA compliance, and visibility.
• Work with vendors and agency partners to execute projects in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with IT on QA and UAT testing to ensure an optimal user experience.
• Support digital marketing and communications initiatives through website and digital asset management.
• Stay current with digital marketing, web trends, and best practices.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge of HTML, CSS, and content management systems.
• Experience with CMS platforms such as Drupal, Sitecore, Episerver, or Sitefinity.
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects.
• Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
• B.A. in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
• Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in digital marketing.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with vendors and agency partners.
• Knowledge of ADA compliance and website usability testing.
• Familiarity with digital marketing trends and web best practices.

• Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in digital marketing.
• Demonstrated knowledge of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms.
