About the Role

The 2026 Intern - Marketing Analytics at IBM is a summer internship based in New York City, supporting the Marketing Analytics team. Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively to address strategic IBM Marketing business challenges.
  • Uncover, synthesize, and apply analytic insights to drive strategic and tactical outcomes.
  • Support projects related to optimizing paid media campaigns and tactics.
  • Analyze, design, and enhance omni-channel audience journeys for personalized content delivery.
  • Drive innovation at the intersection of marketing and AI, including generative AI for content creation and process automation.
  • Participate in educational, networking, and social activities during the internship.
  • Showcase final outcomes to marketing leaders and practitioners across the organization.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university.
  • Available for an internship in Summer 2026.
  • Rising senior for the 2026-2027 school year.
  • High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Passionate about marketing, data, analytics, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • A strategic, consultative, data-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Python, or R for data analysis.

Nice to Have

  • Basic knowledge of marketing, communications, data analytics, or related area.
  • Basic market research skills.
  • Basic knowledge of how to leverage data to tell a story.
  • Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, Cognos, or Excel for data visualization.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED (required).
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
  • Enrolled in an accredited university.
