About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Liaising with client contacts over Slack, email, in-person, and on status calls to deliver relevant updates
• Reporting, including delivery of call/meeting reports to team leads for review, with minimal edits
• Preparing weekly and/or daily status reports, including media monitoring, social media reporting, and task and deadline updates
• Engaging with media and influencers by developing timely pitches and managing responses and questions for clients
• Consuming news and engaging media to identify new or emerging media targets for clients
• Reading and sharing relevant news daily with teams and clients
• Contributing to written content such as press releases, pitches, client emails, and longer articles
• Participating in brainstorming and creative planning sessions
• Actively contributing to all elements of campaigns and client strategies

Requirements

• Strong computer literacy and knowledge of applications such as G Suite and Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with social media applications and industry-specific tools like Meltwater and Muck Rack
• Interest in technology and its impact on daily life
• Passion for creating and developing narratives through writing and storytelling
• Ambitious, driven, and able to solve complex challenges
• Ability to ask questions, listen, synthesize information, and understand success criteria
• Proactive attitude towards volunteering for new tasks and managing workload
• Interest in research and data analysis, with the ability to communicate insights creatively
• Attention to detail and understanding of how individual contributions support team success

Nice to Have

• A college degree (preferred but not required)
• Experience with social media and media monitoring tools
• Experience in storytelling, stand-up, drama, or related mediums
