Job Description

About the Role

The Account Representative - Imports works directly with clients to resolve conflicts and ensure efficient handling of client issues. The role involves processing invoices and account receivables, maintaining knowledge of account status, and communicating company capabilities and services to clients. The position requires collaboration with the project team and adherence to processes and procedures, with a focus on process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Works directly with clients on conflict resolution as issues arise.
  • Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner.
  • Works with the account manager to process invoices and account receivables.
  • Collaborates closely with the project team to maintain continuous knowledge of the account status.
  • Ensures all processes and procedures are followed and works toward process improvement.
  • Communicates all aspects of company capabilities and services to the client.
  • Conducts report analysis, trending, and implements corrective actions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • People skills required to create, maintain, and enhance customer relationships.
  • Extremely detail-oriented.
  • Technical competence in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Motivated and goal-oriented.
  • High level of initiative and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and deadline pressures.
  • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction.
  • BA in Business Administration or four years of related experience.
  • Professional certification may be required in some areas.
  • Must complete PI assessment to be considered for the position.
