About the Role

One of California's largest and most established wholesale refrigeration supply houses with over 110 years of experience serving the HVAC/R industry is expanding its sales team to launch a new air conditioning brand in California. The company is family-owned, offers industry-leading expertise, product warranties, and customer service, with over 16 branches and a main warehouse in Southern California. They stock over 9,500 items from hundreds of manufacturers and have long-standing relationships within the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to introduce the new air conditioning brand to the California market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors to establish a network of exclusive dealers for the new brand.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify target markets and develop sales plans to meet business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and trends in the HVAC industry.
  • Create and manage promotional campaigns, including advertising, events, and digital marketing initiatives, to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to continuously improve strategies and achieve business goals.
  • Work closely with the Rheem Corporation to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and leverage their resources for successful market penetration.
  • Provide training and support to dealerships to enhance product knowledge and sales capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, dealers, and industry partners.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (any additional experience a plus).
  • 5 years of outside sales experience, including brand management experience in the HVAC industry locally.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient digital marketing and social media skills.
  • Prior experience building and managing dealer networks.

Qualifications
