About the Role

The Associate Brand Manager - Vaseline Innovation at Unilever is responsible for leading the development and execution of innovation strategies to enhance Vaseline's relevance, competitiveness, and positioning across North America. The role involves driving innovation across core and premium hand and body lotion platforms by translating consumer insights into breakthrough products, formats, and experiences that deliver business impact. The position requires leading cross-functional teams through complex innovation pipelines and influencing stakeholders, with a focus on unlocking whitespace opportunities and building business resilience year-round.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of innovation strategies for Vaseline's Hand & Body Lotion platforms across Core and Premium segments.
  • Reposition and refresh Vaseline Intensive Care to align with strategic growth and brand purpose.
  • Champion innovation storytelling that resonates with beauty-forward, social-first consumers by staying ahead of cultural trends.
  • Identify and validate new benefit spaces, pack formats, and product formats to attract new or lapsed users and de-seasonalize the portfolio.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovation projects with excellence.
  • Monitor in-market performance and consumer feedback to refine future launches and inform strategic pivots.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in brand innovation, product development, or consumer marketing.
  • Strong creative and strategic thinking skills with a passion for beauty, skincare, and inclusive design.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex innovation pipelines.
  • Experience in premium positioning, value engineering, and inclusive pack design (people/planet).
  • Data-driven mindset with comfort navigating insights, financials, and consumer research.
  • Agile, collaborative, and entrepreneurial spirit.
