About the Role

The Associate Director, Global Pharma Segment at Phillips Medisize is a leadership role responsible for driving business development and growth in the pharmaceutical market, focusing on inhalation solutions and drug delivery devices. The role involves developing customer relationships, identifying market opportunities, and leading strategic sales efforts on a global scale, including travel within the U.S. and internationally. The position supports Phillips Medisize's mission as a contract development and manufacturing organization serving major pharmaceutical, diagnostics, and medical device companies worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Lead business development efforts focused on inhalation solutions, including selling design & development services, validation, clinical builds, tooling, clean room molding, drug handling, and contract manufacturing of drug-delivery devices.
Identify market and customer trends, unmet needs, and product opportunities in the Drug Delivery markets that align with Phillips Medisize capabilities to create value for customers.
Develop a pharma pipeline for inhalation opportunities and manage the sales funnel from prospecting to customer retention to increase sales in development and production.
Manage customer RFQ's, participate in developing new project proposals, and negotiate master development and supply agreements.
Develop and communicate sales strategies, negotiate development and recurring costs with customers to secure new business.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers at all levels, including C-suite, to grow sales and manage existing accounts.
Foster partnerships between customers and internal teams in product development, manufacturing, and management.
Develop positive working relationships with internal disciplines, teams, and management.

Requirements

8-10 or more years of sales management and business development experience.
Experience developing new medical customers, markets, and technologies.
Bachelor's degree.

Nice to Have

Master's degree in management.
Experience with product development, contract manufacturing, and related processes.
Experience working in the Drug Delivery Systems industry.
