About the Role

KPMG is seeking an Associate Director, Product Marketing & GTM Lead for Digital Finance Product to join the Clients & Markets organization. The role involves leading product naming, developing category definitions and POVs, building content and messaging strategies, owning GTM plans, influencing SEO and digital campaigns, and managing events to enhance KPMG's industry presence. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead product naming from concept to clearance, including trademark pre checks, brand architecture fit, and naming systems.
  • Develop category definition and POV that position software and products as 'category-defining'; articulate differentiated value propositions across channels.
  • Build a messaging house (product, solution, industry, role-based) and proof library (use cases, ROI, security posture, risk, and trusted narrative for AI).
  • Set the voice and tone for the product across owned, earned, and paid channels.
  • Own the GTM plan, including segments, buying personas, pricing/packaging guidance, launch phases, and routes to market.
  • Partner with Sales/BD to design pipeline operating models, lead flow, MQL/SQL definitions, SLA, forecasting, and lead handoff.
  • Influence SEO strategy and conversion optimization through keyword universe, schema, backlink strategy, A/B testing, and UX copy.
  • Run digital campaigns (paid search, social, retargeting), grow social presence, and create sales playbooks, discovery guides, objection handling, and demo storylines.
  • Build and execute the events strategy, including flagship launches, conferences, analyst summits, and partner events; secure speaking opportunities.
  • Define success metrics, run postmortems, conduct quarterly reviews, maintain competitive intelligence, and feed insights back to Product and GTM teams.
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum ten years of recent experience in B2B product marketing or GTM for enterprise software, AI, SaaS, or technology-enabled services.
  • Minimum five years of experience owning launches, sales enablement, and taking companies from 5 to 100 customers.
  • Minimum five years of recent B2B product marketing experience in the Finance or AI area.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Proficiency with marketing tech and analytics tools such as Salesforce, Marketo/HubSpot, Seismic/Highspot, Google Analytics/Adobe, SEMrush, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Power BI/Tableau.
  • Experience partnering with Sales/BD to build pipeline, define MQL/SQL, and improve conversion/win rates across complex sales cycles.
  • Understanding of enterprise AI concepts (LLMs, RAG, data governance, model risk, human-in-the-loop) and their mapping to buyer pain points.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to Have

  • Background in professional services or regulated industries; familiarity with independence and client confidentiality standards.
  • Proven experience with joint partner launches (startups and hyperscalers).
  • Prior ownership of digital demand engines for complex technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in driving category creation/definition, including naming and positioning.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
  • MBA or relevant master's degree preferred.
