In this role, you will report to the Senior Director of Product Marketing and be key to shaping growth strategies within the banking, financial services, and insurance sector. You will develop and execute go-to-market initiatives to increase brand awareness and generate demand, supporting sales and partners to achieve success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bring a deep understanding of banking, financial services, and insurance, including regulatory environments, challenges, and opportunities, serving as the voice of the market within the organization.
  • Conduct research and stay ahead of emerging trends, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer needs in BFSI.
  • Develop and own the go-to-market strategy for the vertical, aligning product capabilities with industry pain points and business opportunities.
  • Gather insights from customers, sales, and field teams to refine strategy and product development.
  • Present insights, strategies, and results to leadership to ensure alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Drive thought leadership by creating compelling content like white papers, blogs, and webinars.
  • Craft punchy messaging and value propositions tailored to BFSI customers.
  • Build industry-specific stories, including key use cases and customer success stories.
  • Collaborate with product teams to translate technical capabilities into language understood and valued by BFSI audiences.
  • Partner with sales teams to provide knowledge, tools, and collateral for effective selling into BFSI accounts.
  • Create industry-specific assets such as pitch decks, case studies, ROI calculators, and solution briefs.
  • Deliver targeted training sessions to equip sales teams with BFSI market knowledge, buyer personas, and objection-handling techniques.
  • Work with field marketing to design and execute campaigns targeting BFSI accounts.
  • Identify and influence the buyer journey by engaging key decision-makers and designing effective campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities to showcase the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, ensuring successful execution.
  • Build relationships with customers to turn them into advocates through case studies and joint marketing initiatives.
  • Track the effectiveness of marketing efforts using data and metrics, and manage the budget.
  • Articulate unique differentiators and continuously evolve the go-to-market approach to remain competitive in BFSI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of product marketing experience.
  • Exceptional storytelling, communication skills, and ability to present in front of an audience.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to dive into details when needed.
  • A natural collaborator who thrives in cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies and tactics, and acumen in enterprise/SaaS software, cloud, and AI.
  • Ability to develop innovative and punchy messaging and marketing campaigns.
  • Proficiency in using AI for content writing and automating routine tasks to drive efficiency.
  • 3+ years of banking, financial services, and insurance industry experience.
  • Ability to present in front of an audience on BFSI topics.

  • Experience in enterprise/SaaS software, cloud, and AI.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
