Job Description

About the Role

This is a temporary, 40 hours per week, onsite role starting as soon as possible and running through May 31, 2026. There is potential for conversion to a permanent role at the end of the contract, depending on business needs and performance. The position involves managing paid search campaigns, developing strategies, and collaborating with client teams. The role is located at the client's office in New York City or Chicago Proper, with a hybrid remote/in-office schedule requiring 3-5 days in the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and author overall team strategy and approach to paid search management, in cooperation with the client's in-house Paid Search & Marketing teams
  • Immerse oneself in clients' business: understanding their goals, external economic environment, industries; also know their business model, how it is performing and what success is
  • Work with the client's teams (Data & Analytics and Paid Media) to manage internal and external relationships related to paid search strategy, team, and performance
  • Work with the client services team to manage client relationships related to paid search strategy, team, and performance
  • Ensure best practice and new ideas in all paid search activities; promote knowledge sharing across teams
  • Be a point of escalation, resolving problems in a client-centric environment
  • Accountable for achievement of KPIs and deadlines across core client lines of business

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of experience in Paid Search, specifically in a digital agency
  • Knowledge of Paid Search, market development, and trends
  • Experience with how Paid Search / SEM works with Display Media, Paid Social, SEO, Affiliate, Feeds, Mobile, Social, and Attribution
  • Broad range of experience managing across departments and direct response/branded campaigns
  • This is a hybrid position

Qualifications

  • Experience in Paid Search in a digital agency setting
  • Knowledge of market development and trends in Paid Search
  • Experience working with Display Media, Paid Social, SEO, and related channels
