About the Role

Associate Director, Product Marketing - Cryptocurrency & DeFi at S&P Dow Jones Indices, responsible for leading product marketing initiatives that drive awareness, adoption, and engagement of cryptocurrency and decentralized finance offerings. The role involves crafting compelling narratives and content strategies in the dynamic digital asset landscape, collaborating with product management, sales, and marketing teams to position S&P DJI as a leader in the digital asset space, and ensuring alignment with commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy highlighting S&P DJI's cryptocurrency and DeFi products.
  • Create high-quality content including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, and educational materials to communicate product features, benefits, and market insights.
  • Develop and refine positioning and messaging for S&P DJI's cryptocurrency and DeFi products, crafting narratives that highlight their value propositions to various audiences.
  • Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new product launches and enhancements, collaborating with cross-functional teams for successful rollout.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape, utilizing insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Engage with key partners and clients globally to promote awareness and adoption of cryptocurrency and DeFi products, developing tailored marketing strategies.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the success of marketing initiatives, providing regular reporting and analysis to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in product marketing within financial services, with a focus on cryptocurrency and/or decentralized finance preferred.
  • Proven expertise in content marketing and content creation, with a portfolio demonstrating successful campaigns and effective messaging.
  • In-depth understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency markets, and the product development lifecycle.
  • Proven track record of developing successful product marketing strategies and campaigns that drive measurable results.
  • Bachelor's degree (Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred).
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with product launches, go-to-market strategies, and account-based marketing in the cryptocurrency or fintech space.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels and tactics, including social media, content marketing, and email campaigns.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in market research and competitive analysis to inform product positioning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and external partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing within financial services, especially in cryptocurrency and DeFi.
