Key Responsibilities

  • Lead our day-to-day calendar and management for the social channels
  • Be the head publisher for social content, spanning across Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and more
  • Listen to what people are saying on the social channels and create analysis based on those learnings
  • Provide social post ideas based on current trends or trending topics
  • Monitor online conversations
  • Participate in online conversation via posts to build brand visibility and thought leadership
  • Have a strong understanding of social platforms and their publishing tools
  • Manage and optimize our presence on various social platforms to ensure consistent branding and messaging
  • Assist creatively and proactively in the brand's and your Digitas team in the development of social strategies, playbooks, etc.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for inbound requests from the social client team
  • Identify, analyze issues, patterns and trends in the client landscape and with brand agnostic digital trends
  • Create and ideate, every. single. day.
  • Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the social media campaigns
  • Identify and engage advocates/influencers
  • Proactively escalate and communicate issues, observations, opportunities, and insights to the appropriate client team
  • Establish credibility as a thought leader on new social media tools, best practices and how organizations are using new tools

Requirements

  • A 4-year degree and 1 to 2 years working in digital and/or communications
  • Experience living in the social media universe—you're in-the-know on TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest, Facebook, etc.
  • A strong understanding of marketing strategy, particularly feed marketing
  • Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing
  • Experience in social media management and content creation as well as an eye for detail and creativity
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Passion for and deep understanding of social media trends and best practices
  • The ability to back up great creative ideas with sound analytical reasoning
