About the Role

This role supports the Audience strategy of Expanded Enterprise initiatives at The Home Depot. The company is a leading retailer and ecommerce platform in the US, redefining the future of retail to enable doers to get more done. The marketing team operates at the intersection of brands, ideas, customers, media, and content, with a focus on developing and executing integrated marketing initiatives that drive brand building and sales growth. The Manager will be a key architect of enterprise marketing efforts, working with business partners, marketing and channel leaders, and agency partners to develop strategic, multi-channel marketing plans that enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help drive demand creation by creating brand awareness activities for internal associates
  • Lead and support cross-functional project teams to manage and execute high value initiatives, special projects, and requests for Marketing and Business leaders
  • Manage online and offline marketing programs throughout the project lifecycle, including discovery, assessment, program definition, partnership negotiation, creative development, launch, measurement, and reporting
  • Design and conduct analysis to evaluate customer and market landscapes, competitors, and current business strategies to build an enterprise brand strategy and channel communications plan

Requirements

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A minimum of 5+ years' experience in marketing, communications, or media planning, either at another company or at a media/advertising agency
  • Ability to link business goals to communication strategies and creative concepts
  • Strong advocate of brand communications strategies and tactics, particularly to internal stakeholders
  • Interest in developments in technology and media affecting brand communications and ability to communicate these to relevant constituencies
  • Ability to manage multiple internal and external partnerships and support key brand initiatives
  • The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field

  • Experience in marketing, communications, or media planning
  • Ability to connect business goals with communication strategies and creative concepts
  • Interest and knowledge in technology and media developments impacting brand communications
