About the Role

The Brand Manager at OLLY, part of the VMS Co-Op, is a key member of the Brand team responsible for owning strategic initiatives within the Vitamins, Minerals, and Supplements (VMS) segments. The role involves monitoring brand health, analyzing industry trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive growth and innovation in a dynamic environment. The position offers opportunities for leadership development, strategic planning, and impactful brand management within a fast-growing company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion the development of bold ideas to drive growth and deliver against the business and brand strategies.
  • Develop the long-term strategy for VMS segments in collaboration with the Innovation team, including marketing, innovation, and channel strategies.
  • Manage multiple VMS segments and associated projects for the base business, including renovation and label updates.
  • Develop and execute best-in-class plans for owned segments, including launch plans for new innovation items, both annually and long-term.
  • Participate in Quarterly Business Review processes for multiple VMS segments.
  • Monitor business and brand health through shipment/consumption data and competitive analysis, making ongoing recommendations and adjustments.
  • Partner with Insights to translate consumer learnings into actionable business initiatives.
  • Help create brand and category stories for strategic customers.
  • Develop direct reports to cultivate future leaders within the Brand organization.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience in brand management within the CPG industry.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and manage the P&L and work cross-functionally to meet financial goals.
  • Excellent presentation development and storytelling skills in PowerPoint and analysis in Excel.
  • Experience working with syndicated and shopper data such as IRI Unify, Target POL, etc.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to toggle between high-level strategy and detailed analytics, and between data-driven and gut-feel decision-making.
  • Experience in nutritional space is a plus, but not required.
  • MBA is a plus, but not required.

  • Experience in the nutritional space.
  • MBA degree.
