The role of Brand Manager for the Pain Self-Care Growth Team in North America involves leading global innovation strategies for Adult Pain, working with cross-functional teams, and driving growth through consumer-focused innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivers globally a consistent and distinctive innovation pipeline that meets and advances the category prototype in collaboration with key functions including Scientific Organization, Technology, Supply Chain, and regional Commercial Organizations.
  • Ensures the global brand pipeline is sufficient and meets freshness needs for the Business Management Centers (BMCs).
  • Develops and implements winning innovation launch plans through collaboration with BMCs based on consumer needs, including creating and executing global innovations and launch playbooks aligned with SOBG principles.
  • Rolls out innovations to the rest of the world through deployment teams.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar integrated brand leadership role within a consumer-packaged goods organization.
  • Experience working in a global capacity and collaborating with regional teams.
  • Proven track record of success with large global brands outside of the US, with local market experience, preferably in NA and/or AP regions.
  • Experience working with R&D, Market Research, Communications Agencies, Finance, Sales, and Project Management.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a complex/multi-factorial environment making the complex simple.
  • Experience working with global end-to-end cross-functional teams.
  • Business and cultural understanding of local markets/regions to fuel growth.
  • Experience managing end-to-end innovation processes and global pipeline development, including breakthrough or disruptive innovation.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage teams across multiple time zones.
  • Experience working with Legal, Regulatory, and global partners.

Qualifications

  • Educational background with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
