Key Responsibilities

  • Own brand execution across channels by translating brand strategy into content and social media plans that are consistent, creative, and effective.
  • Manage and mentor the marketing team and directly oversee external agencies and creative vendors such as social, video, and photo teams.
  • Drive high-quality content development by working across teams to develop, refine, and execute messaging that supports our brand and business goals, including content about our degrees, value proposition, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Admissions, Employer Partnerships, and Student Affairs to ensure consistent brand reflection in internal and external communications.
  • Improve processes by streamlining workflows, enhancing creative briefing, and organizing documentation in tools like Notion.
  • Serve as a brand steward by acting as a key point of contact for external brand consultants and ensuring brand guidance is understood and applied throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in brand marketing, content marketing, or social media.
  • At least 2+ years of experience managing people or agencies.
  • Ability to turn strategy into execution with experience running or helping run brand and content campaigns across owned and paid channels.
  • Strong project management skills to juggle timelines, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Great creative judgment with the ability to review or brief creative assets with clarity and vision.
  • Organized and proactive, comfortable managing documentation, tools, and cross-team collaboration.
  • A growth mindset and enthusiasm for taking on more ownership as the team grows.

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing external agencies and creative vendors.
  • Experience working in an educational or tech-focused environment.
