About the Role

As a Direct to Consumer (DTC) Brand Specialist for Ste. Michelle Wine Estates' Oregon Brands—A to Z Wineworks, Erath, and REX HILL—you will play a pivotal role in shaping and elevating the customer experience. You'll develop and execute innovative brand strategies and campaigns that drive awareness, deepen customer engagement, and foster brand loyalty. Our DTC Brand Specialist is someone who is both strategic and hands-on, detail-oriented yet creative, and eager to grow with a company that values innovation and teamwork. The role involves translating brand-driven creative visions into actionable, result-oriented campaigns while building meaningful connections with guests and internal teams. Success will be measured through metrics such as DTC sales, customer retention, and internal brand alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement brand strategies to build awareness and drive engagement within Direct to Consumer channels.
  • Create comprehensive brand activations across all consumer experience touchpoints including web, social media, email, events, and experiences.
  • Provide end-to-end campaign management, serving as project manager to ensure delivery by marketing, brand, and design teams.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the brand(s) and serve as an ambassador and role model.
  • Conduct market, industry, and community research to inform strategy development.
  • Lead and foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful campaign delivery.
  • Engage with community partners, industry associations, hospitality groups, and strategic market club members to further brand strategies.
  • Partner with marketing teams to align DTC strategy and brand activations with overall brand identity and commercial goals.
  • Conduct post-campaign reviews to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support and represent the brands at retail, wine club, and trade events.
  • Engage with wine club members to understand their experiences and identify engagement and retention opportunities.
  • Assist with Tasting Room operations and service as needed, providing exceptional wine presentations and guest education.
  • Educate DTC team members on Oregon Brands, luxury service, and brand activation campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, marketing, or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4-6 years of experience in marketing communications, marketing research, and events-driven marketing roles.
  • Prior experience in the wine industry, hospitality, or branding and engagement roles in luxury brands is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of and competency in project management principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com, Smartsheet, or Trello.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, use a computer, and lift up to 45 pounds.
  • Onsite presence at the REX HILL winery campus and some travel to offsite locations.
  • Ability to obtain an OLCC license.
  • History of responsible alcohol use and appropriate conduct.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the wine industry, hospitality, or branding in luxury markets.
  • Experience with community engagement and partnership development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in hospitality, marketing, or related field
  • 4-6 years of relevant marketing and branding experience
