Business Development Executive (Buy Side Trading Solutions)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Attend industry events, seminars, and conferences to enhance industry knowledge and expertise.
• Serve in a consultative role to prospects, applying defined processes and tools to evaluate prospects.
• Analyze market strategies, deal requirements, growth potential, financials, and product offerings of prospects.
• Work with Product and Trading teams to define, design, and implement commercial solutions for multi-asset trading and portfolio transitions.
• Continuously educate and upskill through seminars, conferences, training, and other resources.
• Innovate and identify new process and technology solutions, especially through usage of AI.
• Build and maintain client relations with complex institutions, working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in a sales or strategy role at a buy-side or sell-side institution.
• In-depth knowledge of US and global capital markets, financial instruments, market structure, and regulatory landscape, with a focus on buy-side market participants such as asset managers and asset owners.
• Experience working with Product and Trading teams to define, design, and implement solutions for multi-asset trading and portfolio transitions.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, including the ability to articulate complex issues and incorporate feedback.
• Demonstrated ability to innovate and identify new process and technology solutions, especially through usage of AI.
• FINRA Series 7 certification.
