The role of Business Development Manager involves expanding market penetration, identifying new customers and opportunities, and strengthening Solenis' market position within a specific region or customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expand market penetration for the assigned region or customers in the Pulp & Paper and Water industry.
  • Identify new customers and opportunities within the region and grow the business while reinforcing the Solenis brand.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of sales initiatives aligned with the Corporate Accounts team growth strategy to expand market share.
  • Drive new product introductions as a key component of new customer acquisition strategy.
  • Develop market intelligence and provide feedback to marketing and technology teams.
  • Develop business development strategies and create annual business development plans to meet revenue objectives.
  • Work closely with account managers to understand business requirements and market needs.
  • Recognize new market segments and opportunities, evaluate returns and investments, and gain approval for necessary resources and actions.
  • Prioritize market segment development activities and set revenue targets.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Alternatively, 6 years of experience with a Master's degree or 3 years with a PhD.
  • Experience in developing business strategies and market development.
  • Ability to resolve complex issues using professional concepts and company objectives.
  • Experience in managing a territory or industry with opportunities for revenue growth.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the Water or Pulp & Paper industries.
  • Knowledge of sales initiatives and market expansion strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 8 years related experience, or equivalent experience as specified
