Business Development Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain current client relationships and identify areas for potential clients.
• Contact potential clients to establish business relationships and meet with them.
• Develop new sales areas and improve sales through various methods.
• Research the latest in the business industry and create new opportunities to expand the business.
• Collaborate with sales and management teams to ensure requirements such as sales numbers and profit goals are met.
• Train junior salespeople to improve sales goals and meet expectations.
• Compare current sales numbers to desired quotas and delegate sales and marketing tasks among team members.
• Meet with upper management to discuss progress.

Requirements

• Proven sales/management experience in solar account management.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Technical skills required to create proposals and find solutions to meet client requirements, such as using software programs and machines.
• Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities.
• Be proactive, organized, and handle work under stressful and uncertain environments.

• Working conditions include remote work, client visits, and time spent in the office.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications include proven sales/management experience in solar account management.
