About the Role

The Business Development Manager at PA Solutions is responsible for sustaining customer relationships within a defined customer base and driving new sales growth. The role involves representing the company's value proposition, developing tailored customer approaches, and collaborating with various departments to optimize sales strategies and customer satisfaction. The position requires a passion for sales, innovative solutions, and shaping the future of the company's offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Defining the individual approach to specific customers in order to create strong and lasting relationships and to achieve designated sales targets.
  • Creating opportunities for the business by gathering information and keeping the business up to date.
  • Planning and executing effective sales activities in line with the business strategy that are focused on customer satisfaction and revenue generation.
  • Analyzing the business's sales operations information and leveraging important information in the development of sales approaches.
  • Developing an in-depth knowledge of the business's core solutions through training and applying this knowledge in sales activities.
  • Working closely with operation departments, marketing, digital solution architects, and product development to optimize value selling.
  • Collaborating with global sales colleagues to create growth strategies for customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience and basic understanding of life sciences manufacturing practices (Automation, GAMP, CSV) would be an asset.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in sales as a Business Development Manager, Account Manager, project engineer, lead engineer, or specialist, and readiness for the next step.
  • Basic understanding of Automation and/or MES PA portfolio of solutions and services.
  • Ability to develop effective customer relationships to generate sales opportunities.
  • Experience in customer relation management.
  • Demonstrated passion and genuine desire to develop insights leading to effective sales strategies.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for technical and business audiences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, sales, marketing or related field.
