About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join American Lumper Services, LLC. The role involves driving growth through strategic planning, market analysis, and developing strong customer relationships within the warehousing and staffing sectors. This is a remote position based in Texas, with occasional travel within the state, and requires the candidate to live in Texas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth in the warehousing and staffing segments.
  • Identify potential clients and build strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective campaigns and promotional materials targeting the warehousing and staffing sectors.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to optimize revenue generation and achieve sales targets.
  • Participate in networking events, industry conferences, and trade shows to showcase our warehousing and staffing solutions.
  • Lead negotiations with potential clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and long-term partnerships.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in the warehousing and staffing industries, anticipating and adapting to changing market dynamics.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, progress, and achievements to senior management.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of at least 3 years in business development within the warehousing and/or staffing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehousing processes and staffing solutions, with an understanding of industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade potential clients effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead a high-performing business development team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a strategic mindset and the capacity to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
