About the Role

The Business Development Manager - Army Enterprise at World Wide Technology Holding, LLC is responsible for managing Army Enterprise accounts, driving strategic programs, and delivering mission-critical IT solutions to the U.S. Government. The role involves identifying large enterprise programs, expanding WWT's solutions footprint, and working closely with sales, engineering, and technical teams to meet customer needs and support U.S. Army modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Executive/Sr. level meetings with customers to gain a detailed understanding of their business and operational needs
  • Demonstrate WWT's value proposition and differentiation effectively to technical and business/operational audiences
  • Lead the development of opportunity assessments to build a qualified pipeline focused on WWT's core competencies and differentiators
  • Conduct architecture and technical briefings providing customers case studies and application of our leading capabilities to solve their concerns
  • Organize WWT experts in infrastructure modernization, multi-cloud architecture, security, digital transformation, and application development to provide detailed discussions on these subjects to customers
  • Develop a thorough understanding of WWT's Advanced Technology Center, Integration Technology Center, and Asynchrony Labs capabilities and establish effective working relationships with leaders in these areas
  • Work cross-functionally with WWT teams to ensure smooth transitions from sales to delivery
  • Provide leadership and vision, while contributing as an inspiring team member focused on achieving business outcomes
  • Foster relationships and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and Account Teams to define account strategy and deliver tailored solutions

Requirements

  • 10+ years of industry experience in strategic business development or sales
  • At least 3+ years of experience focusing on U.S. Army enterprise customers
  • Experience and knowledge of U.S. Army IT modernization programs of record and Army enterprise priorities such as Army Unified Network Plan, Army Digital transformation strategy, Cloud modernization, data and AI enablement efforts
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with systems integrators supporting or operating within the U.S. Army Enterprise community
  • Experience developing strategies to obtain contracts supporting PM IEN, NETCOM, ARCYBER, and ECMA
  • Experience and knowledge operating within the U.S. Army PEO-Enterprise community
  • Understanding of how OEM and VAR communities operate and go to market
  • Proven success in creating business and organizational growth outcomes
  • Willingness to travel 30-40% across the U.S.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Ability to be a trusted advisor within the U.S. Army community
  • Active Security Clearance or ability to obtain one

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud architecture, AI, and strategic planning
  • Knowledge of contracts, IT OEM, and senior-level program management
  • Experience working with government agencies and defense contractors

Qualifications

  • 10+ years' industry experience in strategic business development or sales
