This position reports to the Sales Manager and contributes to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics Instrumentation Sales division. The role involves developing, implementing, and managing new business development strategies focused on growth and customer satisfaction, positioning sales and service activities for maximum penetration, monitoring current projects, and managing customer issues. The work model is remote.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the key business drivers of the targeted customer's business and environment and interpret the impact and opportunity for ABB.
  • Participate in the development of sales strategies for targeted accounts and project activities.
  • Define and propose sales targets for accounts and large projects, ensuring their achievement through structured follow-up across the Business Line and countries.
  • Lead the development and implementation of account plans, including designing the executive relationship strategy and coverage plans, prioritizing opportunities, and identifying targets for analytical portfolio.
  • Establish and develop account relationships based on a defined strategy, act as the focal point for problem resolution, monitor customer claims, and facilitate customer negotiations.

Requirements

  • Good time, activity, and priority management skills.
  • 10+ years of experience in measurement and analytical industry.
  • Ability to leverage existing industry relationships to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Ability to develop and implement structured sales processes and strategies.
  • Intense competitor knowledge and a passion for selling and winning.
  • Focus on end users' wants, needs, goals, and how they buy and maintain their equipment.
  • Ability to develop relationships at all levels within ABB, channel partners, and end users.
  • Ability to travel, with overnight travel estimated up to 75+ nights per year depending on location and customer targets.
