The Business Development Specialist develops, implements, and supports strategies in marketing and business development, working closely with multi-functional departments and leadership to research and assess business performance, identify opportunities, and drive growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and support strategies in marketing and business development.
Research and assess the performance of the business to determine strengths and opportunities.
Develop plans to drive business success and differentiate business offers from competitors.
Evaluate systems and processes to find improvements supporting future growth and reducing expenses.
Create strategies to gain new market share or protect existing market share.
Research, plan, implement, monitor, track, and support new or expanded service lines, offerings, and products.
Obtain feedback from stakeholders regarding opportunities, needs, barriers, and gaps in current programs.
Ensure budgets, schedules, and performance requirements are met for projects.
Develop business models and stay current with industry concepts and trends.
Work with executive management to design and implement organizational plans and strategies.
Collaborate cross-functionally with leaders within the organization and act as a liaison to outside collaborators.
Track and report on progress from project initiation to activation and beyond.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required; field of study can vary, including Business Management, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Healthcare Administration.
Minimum of three years' experience in a related position or structured internship.
Current valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
At least three years of related experience or internship.
Valid driver's license.
