About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Strategic Alliances to lead and expand relationships with key industry alliances, Private Equity partners, and their member firms within the tax and accounting industry. This role is central to driving growth by strengthening relationships, shaping go-to-market strategies, and collaborating cross-functionally to position our SaaS solutions as the preferred platform in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow relationships with top-tier industry alliances and associations relevant to the tax and accounting profession.
  • Develop and implement partnership strategies, prioritize opportunities, and pursue new alliances.
  • Deliver revenue objectives and create OKRs for each alliance partner, monitoring key KPIs and reporting on performance.
  • Build long-term relationships with strategic partners and act as the main point of contact.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop joint marketing initiatives and expand revenue channels.
  • Lead negotiations and manage the lifecycle of partnerships.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with industry influencers and thought leaders to shape conversations and increase brand visibility.
  • Drive content collaboration, event participation, and speaking opportunities.
  • Develop and lead GTM strategy targeted at the Private Equity segment, focusing on large firms and platform investments.
  • Develop pricing models to drive revenue growth and protect existing revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with product management to develop product strategies ensuring CCH Axcess is the platform of choice.
  • Build and manage relationships with PE firms and their portfolio companies to create growth opportunities.
  • Identify partnership models aligned with PE-backed organizations' needs.
  • Support ongoing expansion of the CCH Marketplace, onboarding and optimizing partner offerings.
  • Act as the voice of strategic alliances within the company, driving alignment and tracking performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic partnership, business development, or GTM leadership in B2B SaaS.
  • Proven success in building and managing relationships with C-level leaders, industry associations, and private equity firms.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS GTM strategies, sales processes, and partner ecosystems.
  • Exceptional executive presence and communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and executive leadership in a matrixed environment.
  • Comfortable working in a high-growth, fast-paced, and often ambiguous environment.
  • Travel up to 12 site visits per year, with potential onsite recruitment visits.

Nice to Have

  • Experience within the tax, accounting, or professional services industry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • MBA (preferred).
