About the Role

The S&P Market Intelligence team is seeking a Business Development Support Associate to join the Data & Research Corporates Team. This team is responsible for defining strategies for various client sectors, understanding client workflows, developing go-to-market efforts, driving end-user engagement, and identifying growth opportunities. The team collaborates closely with product development, sales, account management, customer success, marketing, and clients worldwide to deliver insights and solutions that support decision-making and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate closely with the marketing, sales and business development teams to align strategies across various sub-segments within the Corporates business line.
  • Facilitate communication between the Corporates team and marketing to ensure cohesive and effective campaigns.
  • Assist in the development and execution of go-to-market initiatives aimed at enhancing brand visibility and product understanding by our end users, including key partners such as Snowflake and Databricks.
  • Partner with internal teams in creation, review, and maintenance of client-facing collateral and go-to-market materials.
  • Assist with internal communications and education within the Corporates business line.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform go-to-market strategies and business development efforts.
  • Provide feedback to improve products, product usability, and the overall user experience.
  • Engage and build relationships with sales, account management, and customer success teams to better understand our clients' challenges and how our offerings can support their workflows.

Requirements

  • BS in Finance, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of work experience in product management, marketing, client sales, or support in a corporate setting.
  • Understanding or interest in financial markets, data and technology.
  • Familiarity with marketing software and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to collaborate and work well within multiple organizational and functional departments.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities and multi-task across projects.
  • Team-first and winning mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with or understanding of data assets, platforms, and solutions in a corporate environment.
  • Experience working with or knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, or similar partners.

Qualifications

  • Educational background with a BS in Finance, Business, Marketing, or related field.
