About the Role

This position serves as the lead for top partner and distributor marketing engagements, campaigns and programs aligned with IBM Automation offerings. The role involves working closely with ecosystem partners to differentiate IBM solutions, drive demand, and meet business and marketing targets. The leader will become familiar with IBM's Solutions, Partner Plus Program, and collaborate with various internal teams to develop and execute marketing strategies that support IBM's Hybrid and AI growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the needs and motivations of partners, distributors, clients, and markets, engaging with Partners and Channel Sellers to drive demand for IBM Solutions and gather feedback to inform IBM strategies.
  • Know IBM Solutions, including all relevant sales and technology plays, to develop effective go-to-market strategies with the ecosystem.
  • Understand software attach and migration strategies to expand hardware partners to priority offerings.
  • Collaborate with Channel Sales, IBM Demand, and Field marketing teams to influence marketing investments and execute demand generation tactics with business partners.
  • Create end-to-end campaigns to attract new highly skilled business partners and activate existing BPs to generate revenue through demand campaigns aligned with IBM strategy.
  • Elevate and integrate partners into IBM demand generation activities and develop quarterly plans to achieve year-over-year growth in volume and revenue.
  • Educate and advise partners on IBM Co-Marketing programs, rules, and best practices.
  • Deliver on the ecosystem business and marketing pipeline and revenue objectives, including executive reviews at global and regional levels.
  • Collaborate across ecosystem and other organizational units, representing Partner Marketing across all levels of partner and IBM leadership.
  • Manage global growth initiatives, scaling successful strategies, and experimenting with new concepts where growth is slow.
  • Work with product marketing and content teams to develop positioning and tools to support partner marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • Experience in Marketing and working with Business Partners or third parties.
  • Proficiency with tools and data analytics programs such as CMC, Tableau dashboards, PPS data, GPM to monitor and measure activities.
  • Experience managing a marketing budget and demand generation programs.
  • Experience managing process controls.
  • Understanding of B2B partner marketing, including varying partner marketing skills and resources.
  • Experience in campaign design and delivery to recruit partners or clients.
  • Experience operating or leveraging agentic workflow.
