Key Responsibilities

  • Evolve Nestlé USA's mid to long-term strategies to enable category growth by getting the right products at the right retailers at the right time.
  • Be responsible for channels, categories, or segments to achieve category and sales growth and build market share within financial guardrails.
  • Build a commercial plan in partnership with divisions, leading to strategic initiatives across channels and the 4Ps.
  • Provide category and segment insight across the customer base and communicate strategies to field partners.
  • Measure, assess, refine, and pivot strategies with clear communication to customer teams.
  • Drive category, channel, and customer initiatives including Strategic Revenue Management, Innovation, and New Business Development.
  • Ensure operational efficiencies, support forecasting accuracy, meet sales performance targets, and proactively build future commercial strategies.
  • Partner to lead key projects aligned through the MBS process to drive long-term profitable growth.
  • Drive channel, category, and customer-centric strategies to enable product/brand category objectives in concert with division brand teams.
  • Establish strategic key points for channels and key customers based on shopper insights and resolve overall category/brand needs at the 4P level.
  • Advance category activities with marketing and division leadership and own Commercial Action Plan development and deployment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Sales or Marketing preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Knowledge of core Business Processes such as Sales/Distribution, Customer Planning, Financial Reporting, Training, HR Policies, Traceability, and Quality Fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of Strategic and Integrated Commercial Planning process.
  • Knowledge of Customer Best Practice, Market Intelligence, Category/Channel/Shopper trends, and shopper insights into actionable ideas.
  • Financial knowledge to evaluate return on investment, EBIT, and conduct post-promotional evaluation.
  • Knowledge of business-driving technology solutions (e.g., Nielsen, BW, Source) and industry insights and trends.

  • Experience in developing and executing commercial strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decisions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and leading projects.
