About the Role

The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting all social media marketing efforts, including content creation, strategy, and implementation of digital media, social media, and paid online advertising. The role involves partnering with PR, marketing, and Digital teams to develop brand strategies and campaigns that appeal to various media groups. The position requires on-site presence and involves managing influencer relationships, content curation, community engagement, and performance measurement to enhance brand awareness and market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clear guidance and a strategic framework for global-level corporate communications related to social media activities.
  • Manage social media agency, providing guidance for content creation and strategy to meet brand goals.
  • Direct creator and influencer management from strategy to execution, including researching and establishing relationships with key influencers and managing partnerships for earned media exposure.
  • Curate content and maintain all global social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and emerging platforms like Threads.
  • Lead social sharing expectations for the brand, improve content, and help reduce promotional costs.
  • Manage social growth and engagement strategies to improve organic reach and lower ad costs.
  • Work with social agencies for reporting and measurement metrics.
  • Conduct regular audits of the Hard Rock Cafe website to ensure content accuracy and updates.
  • Plan, develop, and implement social media strategies, editorial calendars, and tactical plans aligned with target audiences and brand identity.
  • Engage with the community via social media and in person, including onsite presence at events and promotions.
  • Establish and grow relationships with key digital influencers, bloggers, entertainers, and personalities.
  • Create effective copy and campaigns for earned media exposure.
  • Develop and execute mobile and social media campaigns to grow market share and brand awareness.
  • Measure and report performance of marketing activities, analyze trends, and optimize plans accordingly.
  • Maintain systems for evaluating social and mobile program success using platforms like Emplifi.
  • Extend marketing initiatives into external publications for SEO purposes.
  • Manage budgets for social media campaigns, paid advertising, and influencer marketing to ensure ROI.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer and crisis issues in digital spaces.
  • Monitor online reviews on sites such as TripAdvisor, Yelp, and OTA sites.
  • Align partnerships with paid and non-paid social media efforts and campaigns.
  • Work with Digital Marketing to integrate social and emerging media into online brand campaigns.
  • Serve as liaison between PR, Digital Marketing, and other departments regarding social media efforts.
  • Assist the public relations team as needed and support other key marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of direct social, digital, marketing, and/or brand marketing experience, including digital, mobile, and emerging campaigns.
  • At least 5 years of social media/web 2.0 experience as an online marketer.
  • At least 3 years of hospitality experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage marketing budgets effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, marketing, or business administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of mobile, emerging, and social media applications for advertising campaigns.
  • Experience leveraging social media platforms for advertising campaigns.
  • Understanding of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, blogs, etc.
  • Attention to detail and effective communication skills in both written and verbal formats.
  • Ability to plan, develop, and implement projects and programs.
  • Work well under pressure of deadlines and exercise initiative and strategic thinking.
  • Technology savvy with a solid understanding of web, online marketing, and email practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CapCut, and Adobe Suite.
