The role of Corporate Social Media Specialist is part of the Corporate Social Media Strategist/Public Relations team, focusing on developing and executing social media strategies to elevate the brand and engage stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with corporate brand, business goals, and marketing objectives.
  • Partner with social media leads within the organization to ensure brand alignment and create governance structures.
  • Build and manage a cross-channel social media calendar that includes stand-alone campaigns and amplification of broader media and internal communication strategies.
  • Write and design compelling content tailored to each platform and campaign.
  • Proactively monitor social channels for potential reputational risks, emerging issues, and public sentiment; escalate and respond as appropriate.
  • Develop strategies, guidelines, and processes to engage executives and employees in an ambassador program to amplify the brand.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies or vendors to support content execution and performance optimization.
  • Monitor social media performance and prepare reports comparing performance against benchmarks.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in social media within a corporate or agency environment.
  • Demonstrated experience creating, executing, and measuring a content strategy.
  • Exceptional writing skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in design skills.
  • Skilled in project management and operational skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working across a matrixed structure and independently.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of financial services industry is a plus.
