The Creative Account Manager role supports our team by managing client relationships, coordinating projects, and driving revenue growth within the agency, with a hybrid work arrangement in Arkansas and occasional local travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main day-to-day contact on current projects for clients, suppliers, external partners, and the Account team, promoting the agency's ideas and benefits with confident attitude and polished communication skills.
  • Ensure best-in-class account handling and relationship development through inspiring and delighting clients with added value ideas and services.
  • Build new relationships and nurture existing relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Participate in meetings with existing clients and internal teams to identify new services or offerings to meet clients' evolving needs; serve as the Subject Matter Expert on processes, capacity, timelines, etc.
  • Coordinate client-specific projects throughout the lifecycle, including estimate creation, project selection, resource assignment, monitoring progress, and generating invoices.
  • Translate client requests and requirements into detailed, and sometimes technical, instructions for project teams.
  • Partner with the client, the Account Team, and project teams to resolve project issues.
  • Ensure accurate and timely invoices by maintaining correct project details and supporting evidence throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Partner with Client Integration and the Account Team to ensure a smooth transition for new clients, attending pre-integration and planning meetings as needed.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to develop or adapt processes, policies, and workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, speed, and quality.
  • Provide solutions for business-related issues and generate specific plans to achieve objectives.
  • Manage and balance marketing budgets to maximize ROI and drive incremental sales.
  • Provide expertise on customer pricing and promotional planning.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of employees to ensure goals are accomplished.
  • Mentor, coach, train, and develop team members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing or related field.
  • 6+ years previous account management experience in a Creative Design Agency, Market Research firm or similar consulting environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior managerial/supervisory experience preferred.
  • Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including analysis, interpretation, and reasoning.
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers, colleagues, and clients.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to influence peers and senior management.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing or related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant account management experience.
