About the Role

The Customer Development Manager 1 at Goodyear is responsible for managing and strengthening category-level relationships with customers. This role focuses on executing business plans, driving category growth, and ensuring alignment with corporate policies. It involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and serving as a key liaison between the company and its customers to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the development and execution of category business planning with the customer, including the selling assortment, new product execution, pricing, in-store merchandising, and promotion plans in the achievement of scorecard targets.
Provide category-level customer expertise.
Ensure customer compliance with corporate policies at the category level.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
Four or more years of experience in Customer Development or Support.
Exposure to multiple channels and facets of the organization.
Experience in selling or demonstrated ability to have positive interrelationships with customers.
Foundational analytical capabilities with a solid understanding of core business principles.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both customers and internal leadership.
Proficiency in negotiation and delivering impactful presentations.
Strong background in account management and sales strategy execution.
Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across teams.

Nice to Have

Master's degree in Marketing, Sales, or related field.
