About the Role

Siege Media is a growing and remote-first organic growth agency recognized on Inc.'s Best Workplaces list and Inc. 5000 list, highlighting the fastest-growing private companies. The company focuses on driving growth for high-growth startup and enterprise clients through demand-generation, brand, and thought-leadership initiatives. The Demand Gen Manager will own strategy and execution in these areas, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with sales to optimize ABM, website, digital brand experience, and content efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Increase the qualified web traffic and sales qualified leads to Siege Media
  • Execute an account based marketing (ABM) strategy aimed at high growth startups and potential enterprise clients
  • Own the Siege Media website, updating positioning, case studies and overall brand experience to drive new business goals and stay up to date with the industry
  • Collaborate with the sales team in developing marketing collateral such as sales deck slides, case studies/battle cards, and thought leadership content
  • Serve as the final say/QA for business development content
  • Manage and proactively source available team utilization to create thought leadership/SEO content for the Siege blog with the goal of growing sales qualified leads
  • Manage social media strategy and create content across podcast platforms, email, LinkedIn, X, and Threads for both the company and personal branding
  • Manage the Siege Media “Content and Conversation” podcast, sourcing relevant guests and project managing the process to drive business goals
  • Attend conventions, conferences, and trade shows, preparing collateral and providing post-event reports and analysis
  • Periodically attend sales calls as a backup to the sales team/service leads
  • Manage a business development budget to allocate resources effectively
  • Manage a business development advertising budget including newsletter sponsorships, events, networking events, and listing directories
  • Engage with blog business development partners/affiliates to confirm performance and attribution
  • Project manage Siege Media team members via working with Content Marketing Managers to ensure timelines and quality goals are met
  • Run Siege Media's monthly business development strategy meetings
  • Report and improve on business development metrics such as SQLs, traffic, organic traffic, and keyword rankings

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, or relevant experience
  • 5+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding annual marketing goals resulting in significant business growth
  • 3+ years of experience working at an agency, ideally in a marketing capacity or leading the marketing department
  • Experience and enthusiasm for integrating AI into demand gen workflows
  • Experience either marketing to enterprise accounts or being part of one
  • Experience and expertise in SEO and content marketing
  • Experience leading team meetings and maintaining agendas
  • Experience managing a marketing budget
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to form productive working relationships in a remote setting
  • Ability to occasionally travel to conventions, networking events, and trade shows

Nice to Have

  • Established personal brand in the areas of SEO/marketing/content marketing
  • 2+ years of social media strategy experience that generates measurable platform growth and target audience engagement
  • Experience with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms)
  • Deep experience in fintech, SaaS, or ecommerce verticals
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS and comfort with uploading content and making updates to WordPress
  • Proficiency in project management tools like Basecamp and Smartsheet

  • Relevant educational background or experience in marketing

Benefits & Perks

  • Salary range based on experience, with a base of $95,000-$120,000 and $130,000-$145,000 OTE based on SQL growth goals
