About the Role
We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Specialist to join our team at 905 Washington Ave, Bay City, MI 48708. The role involves developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engage with our audience, and drive traffic to our website. This is a full-time position offering a starting pay of $20 an hour, with benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, retirement plans, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage social media content calendar
- Develop engaging and shareable content for various social media platforms
- Monitor social media channels for trends, news, and feedback
- Respond to comments and messages in a timely manner
- Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with marketing team to create cohesive campaigns
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
- Knowledge of e-commerce principles and best practices
- Experience in content creation, including writing and editing
- Proficient in video editing software
- Familiarity with social listening tools for research purposes
- Basic web design skills
- Graphic design skills using Adobe Illustrator or similar software
- Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite
- Ability to commute to Bay City, MI 48708
Nice to Have
- Experience in marketing (3 years preferred)
