About the Role

The Digital Marketing Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management and successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects across various media channels, including digital, video, print, and social media. The role involves collaborating with internal teams, marketing partners, business stakeholders, and external technical teams to ensure campaign success and effective communication. The PM serves as the primary contact for marketing partners and manages project workflows to meet goals and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strong partnerships with the account team to provide a unified voice of the agency to marketing partners
  • Provide accurate assessments and counsel during project pipeline planning and project intake conversations, to determine feasibility, resource availability, and completeness of information for scoping
  • Run projects of all Tiers with agency resources, from project intake to delivery to project retrospective analysis
  • Manage marketing partner expectations on projects, including timing, scope, and next steps
  • Manage workflow using the agency's project management system, Workfront, including opening jobs, creating schedules, securing resources, and managing communications
  • Move projects forward by removing blockers, mitigating risks, and escalating friction points in a timely manner to cohort leads for resolution
  • Provide ongoing visibility of project health by maintaining up-to-date project information in Workfront for reporting and analysis
  • Act as liaison between technical, strategy, creative, account, and production teams to ensure end results deliver on time
  • Act as primary or support project manager on projects in a cohort, as needed
  • Participate and support cohort team health through cross-functional team partnership
  • Offer feedback, participate, and pilot team and agency initiatives
  • Deliver a wide range of medium and large-scale projects successfully
  • Collaborate across disciplines and build strong relationships
  • Apply and advance basic and advanced project management principles
  • Make quick, informed decisions and provide alternative solutions when problems arise
  • Work effectively in a team environment with strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success delivering medium and large-scale projects
  • Experience working within an established agency, consultancy, or marketing firm
  • Experience managing marketing assets such as emails, social media, webpages, event creative, collateral, motion graphics, and strategic messaging
  • Exposure to campaign management, measurement, and analysis
  • Ability to manage projects with iterative workflow process changes while maintaining service quality
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across disciplines
  • Solid grasp of basic and advanced project management principles
  • Ability to make quick decisions and provide alternative solutions
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Experience with enterprise-level project management tools such as Workfront, JIRA, or Basecamp
  • Proficiency with Windows
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptability to operate in environments with deadlines and changing demands
  • Experience in highly regulated environments or at a financial institution is a plus
