Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee overall project pipeline, coordinate activities, and report on success metrics for the National Property & Casualty group.
  • Ensure appropriate communication, project support, resources, and delivery to meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Provide overarching coordination of multiple projects, integrating activities with other project managers as needed.
  • Identify and address capacity issues, adjusting schedules and expectations accordingly.
  • Coordinate timing of field communication, program/product launches, and staff training across National Property & Casualty.
  • Provide routine reporting on KPIs for all practice areas, programs, and products within National Property & Casualty.
  • Partner with internal resources to ensure project activities are carried out according to requirements, schedules, and budgets.
  • Track project performance to analyze the successful completion of goals.
  • Create and manage project implementation plans, including deliverables and milestones.
  • Create project controls such as action item lists, risk logs, issues logs, change control, and decision logs.
  • Act as the point person for project-level communications with sponsors, stakeholders, and team leads.
  • Seek opportunities to implement process improvements within the department.
  • Translate the vision and requests of leadership to vendors.
  • Evaluate and provide input in the vendor selection process.
  • Ensure compliance with data standards and maintain data integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience working in a project management capacity.
  • Portfolio Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Valid Insurance License preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to Have

  • Portfolio Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Valid Insurance License.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Five or more years of project management experience.
