About the Role

The Director of Brand, Creative & Marketing Operations reports to the VP of North America Marketing and supports regional business goals by leading the brand, creative, and marketing operations team for North America. This key position manages the development of brand and creative strategy, content development, and marketing resource allocation to support initiatives across Sales, Events, Marketing, and Operations departments. The role involves collaboration with various marketing stakeholders, cross-functional regional partners, and corporate teams, while establishing best practices for content management, creative project management, and digital tools to ensure brand consistency and regulatory compliance. The position oversees teams in Torrance and Guadalajara, serving as a liaison to corporate creative and project management teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead regional creative project planning, manage staff-project allocation for NAM Creative leveraging Content Management and Project Management resources, establish the SOP for external creative partners management, and establish and adhere to budget guidelines for video, photography, and contingent creative agencies.
  • Determine the editorial voice for the North America region, content strategy, and creative direction for marketing initiatives and campaigns, ensuring messaging and translations across all channels are optimized for an industry-leading experience.
  • Partner with NAM Sales, Marketing, Events, Operations, and other regional/corporate teams to activate ongoing and new business programs and promotions to drive sales growth.
  • Establish and enforce content management best practices for company websites and digital asset management to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Work with design and creative teams to deliver high-quality creative and production solutions, seeking innovative methods of production.
  • Oversee emerging video and digital technologies and platforms to ensure quality content creation and digital asset management, including managing external vendors.
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing and Regional DO on SEO strategies for NAM distributor and preferred member websites.
  • Support development of marketing journeys and campaigns for DS and CS initiatives by collaborating with respective marketing leads.
  • Work with external agencies and vendors to identify opportunities for outside support and manage demand overflow.
  • Evaluate and implement new creative marketing strategies and technologies, and identify workflow efficiencies.
  • Establish SOPs for Marketing Operations and ensure compliance with Project Management guidelines across teams.
  • Secure proper allocation of Marketing Operations resources across Torrance and Guadalajara to support regional needs.
  • Direct teams in applying market knowledge and analytics to enhance marketing initiatives and content development.
  • Implement management best practices to ensure NAM Brand, Creative, and Marketing Operations is an employment opportunity of choice.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience in marketing content and creative development, including digital, video, literature, and promotions, as well as creative project management.
  • 10+ years of experience in brand development, digital content strategy, and management.
  • 8+ years managing multiple projects and communications with stakeholders, agencies, and business groups.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience with multi-disciplinary creative teams, with strong management and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to develop product positioning, messaging, and creative concepts for different demographics.
  • Solid experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Asset Management tools, and Project Management platforms like Workfront.
  • Ability to influence internal and external teams through experience, insights, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to develop strategies and action plans for content and creative deliverables supporting business needs.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams, multiple projects, and stakeholder communications in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent resource, budget, and timeline management skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business administration, design, film/video, or related field.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with creating compelling messaging and creative concepts for various target demographics.
  • Experience with design management of workflows including print, digital, video production, apparel design, translations, and proofing processes.
  • Knowledge of SEO strategies and digital technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business administration, design, film/video, or related field.
