About the Role

The Director of Branded Retail at Optimum oversees the strategic direction and performance across the company's network of Branded Partners, National Retail channels, Indirect Dealers, and Authorized Dealers. The role involves managing channel strategies, leading a team of Regional Managers, and ensuring the success of partner networks to drive sales growth, enhance customer experience, and promote profitability. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth, increase market share, and enhance profitability across various channels.
  • Lead and manage a team of Regional Managers or channel leaders, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess partner performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional marketing, product management, and operations teams to develop and execute effective channel strategies and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards across all branded partner channels.
  • Foster a positive and engaging environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and a customer-centric mindset among partners.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Conduct regular partner visits or reviews to assess operations, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to brand standards and quality expectations.
  • Develop and manage channel budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control measures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and external stakeholders to negotiate favorable terms and maximize profitability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Channel Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in channel or retail management.
  • At least 3-5 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple channels such as Branded Partners, National Retail, Indirect Dealers, and Authorized Dealers.
  • Proven success in driving sales growth and achieving financial targets within a multi-channel environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities focused on developing and empowering teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships and collaborating with internal and external partners.
  • Deep knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to channel and partner management.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and implement strategic plans and make sound business decisions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with high-speed connectivity or telecommunications industries.
  • Experience managing large, complex channel networks or partner ecosystems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Channel Management, or a related field.
